DIOCESAN GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR 2026
The Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia was formed in 1976, having previously been part of the Diocese of Northampton. Our first bishop was Bishop Alan Clark and our present bishop is Bishop Peter Collins, who is the fifth bishop of East Anglia. The diocese covers the counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. This year we are celebrating the GOLDEN JUBILEE of the diocese.

The Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes & St John Fisher covers a large area of South Cambridgeshire and is looked after by Canon John Minh. We are part of St Andrew’s deanery.
There are two Catholic churches in the parish: Our Lady of Lourdes in Sawston, and the Catholic community of Saint John Fisher in Cambourne. Both are looked after by Fr John.
