Confession is the popular name for the Sacrament of Conversion because it makes sacramentally present Jesus’ call to conversion, the first step in returning to the Father from whom one has strayed by sin.

It is also called the Sacrament of Penance, or the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Therefore, there are Reconciliation Services during Advent and Lent for the faithful to prepare themselves for Christmas and Easter celebrations.

Our weekly time for confession is after 9.30am Mass on Saturdays.

​

However, the parish priest is willing and happy to hear confession at other times.
